Our take

This Pixio monitor is a steal for the specs. The Fast IPS panel delivers excellent colors and fast response—165Hz at 1440p is a sweet spot for gaming. The 450 nits brightness makes HDR content pop more than cheaper monitors. FreeSync works without issues. I appreciate the built-in speakers (decent for casual use) and USB-C input for easy laptop connection. The only downsides are the mediocre contrast ratio (1000:1) and the stand is wobbly. The menu buttons are also a bit finicky. For $138, you get a high-brightness IPS with USB-C—hard to beat.
